Since 1850, the all-girls San Domenico Upper School has offered young women a distinctive education and unique opportunity to develop their creativity and passions while exploring new interests. Please use this checklist to ensure that all forms are returned to the Admissions Office.   1. APPLICATION FORM: All application materials must be received by our office no later than January 10, 2008*. Applications received after this date are considered on a space-available basis. Notification of admission decisions will be mailed on March 10, 2008.
  2. STUDENT STATEMENT: We are interested in learning more about you and the activities in which you participate. Please submit your own work in your own handwriting. If you submit the Common Application Form, you will need to request a copy of the San Domenico Student Statement.
  3. APPLICATION FEE: The completed application form should be returned to the Admissions Office with a non-refundable check payable to San Domenico School, in the amount of $100.00.
  4. TRANSCRIPT RELEASE: This form should be signed by your parent/guardian and given to your school registrar/secretary who will mail your transcript directly to San Domenico. This form should not be returned to our office.
  5. PRINCIPAL/COUNSELOR RECOMMENDATION: This recommendation form, along with an envelope addressed to San Domenico School, should be given to your principal, head of school, or counselor.
  6. MATH AND ENGLISH TEACHER RECOMMENDATIONS: These recommendation forms, along with return envelopes addressed to San Domenico School, should be given to your math and English teachers.
  7. CAMPUS VISIT & INTERVIEW: Please call the Admissions Office early in the Fall to schedule a visit. Visits will be scheduled from September through January. You will have the opportunity to meet a student ambassador, sit in class with her, and take part in class activities. Interviews with a member of the admissions committee will be scheduled upon receipt of the application, in January and February.
  8. TESTING: Students need to take the SSAT (Secondary School Admission Test), HSPT (High School Placement Test) or ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam). Eleventh grade applicants need to take the PSAT (Preliminary School Admission Test).
  9. PHOTO: Please include a recent student photograph (optional).
  10. FINANCIAL AID: The Financial Aid Application deadline is January 10, 2008. PARENTS MUST CALL TO REQUEST A FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION BEGINNING IN NOVEMBER.
  11. OPEN HOUSE: Sunday, November 11, 2007 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
