MP&MS welcomes candidates for admission who have a broad range of interests, who are from families dedicated to excellence, character and development and who are compatible with the school values and mission.

Applying for admission to MP&MS (preschool - eighth grade) follows the process below:
For preschool, a formal application is available by calling the Admission Office. For grades Junior Kindergarten-Eighth grade, the school requires a Preliminary Application, a Formal Application (MP&MS accepts the Common Application Form accepted by other Bay Area Schools), a parent tour/interview, a visit to the classroom for the child (if applying to grades First-Eighth), one or two teacher recommendation forms (at least one form must be filled out by child’s current teacher), all school transcripts (if applicable) and attendance at one Kindergarten screening date (for Kindergarten applicants). In addition, MP&MS requires a $50 fee to accompany all preschool applications and a $75 fee to accompany all Junior Kindergarten-Eighth Grade applications, along with a family picture (including whole family) to be submitted with application. Application deadline for Junior Kindergarten-Eighth Grade is January 11th, Admission decisions are mailed March 12th. Special consideration is given to siblings of current MP&MS students.
