Founded in 1962, International is a coeducational, nonprofit, nondenominational school located in the heart of San Francisco. A belief in the essential value of diversity is a keystone of our mission statement, and we consequently attract and serve a richly diverse and varied student population. Students pursue courses of study leading to the International Baccalaureate or the French Baccalaureate. Our faculty is drawn from all over the world, and over 80% hold masters degrees or higher.

• Schedule a shadow visit and interview.
• Register for an Open House.
• Register for the SSAT or ISEE.   We also accept the following tests: CTP 4, CTBS, SAT 9, and STAR.   Our school code for the SSAT is 3274 and for the ISEE is 052943.
• Ensure that the following application materials are submitted to the school by January 15, 2009:
  • Parent/Guardian Common Application Form
  • $75 non-refundable application fee
  • Supplemental Student Application
  • Student photograph
  • Copy of student’s birth certificate or passport
  • Student Essay
  • Current Mathematics Teacher Recommendation Form, signed by parent/guardian
  • Current English Teacher Recommendation Form, signed by parent/guardian
  • Current Principal/Counselor Recommendation Form, signed by parent/guardian
  • Transcript Release and Confidentiality Form, signed by parent/guardian
  • Most recent school transcript from this academic year and final transcript from last academic year.
