Use the inquiry form to request a viewbook, an application, and a course catalogue. You can also call the Admission Office at 800-287-9197 to have materials sent to you. Please feel free to call with specific questions about dorm life, extra-curricular programs, and curriculum.
- If you are ready to pursue the application process, you need to fill out the application, parent profile, student profile, and return them to us. It is important to distribute the teacher and personal recommendations right away so they can be returned to the Admission Office in a timely manner. If you are applying for our Learning Skills program, you must submit a psycho-educational evaluation that was administered within the last two years. It must include a WISC or WAIS and an achievement battery such as the Woodcock Johnson or the Wechlser Individual Achievement Test.
- You can also apply online at this site or download the application forms.
Campus visits are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday when school is in session. You will have the opportunity to tour the campus and meet students and faculty. If you would like to have an interview with the Director of Admission, we prefer that you complete and return the application, parent profile, and student profile before your visit. For a more in-depth look at the Dunn community, we can arrange for you to shadow one of our current students for part of the academic day. The campus tour is an important part of the application process, but if distance prohibits a visit to Dunn, we will make every effort to provide an off-campus interview in your area.
Applicants to Dunn School should register for the SSAT or ISEE and take the test anytime before February to be considered in the first round of acceptances. Applicants to tenth or eleventh grade may submit the results of the PSAT or SAT. International students are required to submit a TOEFL score in addition to other standardized testing. Please refer to the links provided in the Admissions Resources to learn more about the dates and testing locations of the SSAT and ISEE.
