  • Read all application materials and browse our web site to become familiar with our programs.
  • Come to one of our Open Houses. Refer to the Admissions Calendar or call the school for dates and times.
  • Call the Admissions Office 415-409-3739 to make an appointment for the complete campus visit or for just the interview. An interview is required as part of the admissions process. The complete visit lasts between three and four hours and includes attending classes, meeting students and faculty, interviewing with a member of the admissions committee, and writing an essay. The essay is usually handwritten although a computer may be used upon request. Complete visits are available Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays throughout the fall. Please remember to call early in the fall for more flexible scheduling.
  • Complete the application forms and submit them to the Admissions Office. There are a number of places to find the application forms. They are available in downloadable PDF form on this page or we will happily send you an application packet in the mail either by filling out the online inquiry form or by calling the admissions office. You also have the option of applying online. The following link will take you to the on-line application for both the parent and the student. (Parts I and II of the application.) All the instructions to apply online can be found on our online application.
  • If possible, please submit Part I, the Parent Form, by the December 1, 2008 filing date. Part II, the Student Application form, and the $75 non-refundable application fee, are due by January 15, 2009 for the 2009-2010 academic year. If you are applying online, both Part I and Part II must be completed before your can submit either one. Applicants who file after the deadline should complete all the forms immediately. Decisions regarding late applications will be made through a rolling admissions process and on a space-available basis.
  • Have your most recent standardized test scores sent directly to Drew. We prefer, but do not require, the SSAT. Our Code for the SSAT is 2888. We will also accept ERB and other standardized test scores.
  • Submit your signed Transcript Release form to your current school.
  • Fill out the top portion of the teacher recommendation forms and distribute them to your current Math and English teachers with stamped envelopes. Give the Principal/Counselor form to your principal, counselor, or advisor.
  • Call the Admissions Office if you would like to receive an application for financial aid. Complete all financial aid forms and submit a copy to the Director of Financial Aid at Drew no later than January 15, 2009. Financial Aid forms can also be found online at https://sss.ets.org. The tuition for the 2008-09 academic year at Drew is $28,500. There is also an Enrollment Fee of $2,000. Textbooks, yearbook, PSAT fee, graduation fees, Student Accident Insurance and Tuition Insurance are included in these costs. Tuition for the 2009-2010 academic year will be set in early 2009.
