Visit a Bentley Information Session:

Bentley offers Information Sessions to help acquaint interested families with our school and programs. Information Sessions for parents interested in the 2008-2009 school year are scheduled as follows:

Upper School - Grades 9-12

Schedule a Tour:

Tours are conducted on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, October 1st, 2007 through January 31st, 2008, beginning at 8am on the Lafayette Campus. They are designed to be an opportunity to see Bentley in action. Current Bentley Parents will guide you around the campus, take you into classrooms, and answer questions from a Parent’s perspective. Please contact the Admissions Office if you need to schedule a tour on a day besides Tuesday or Thursday.

Once you have decided to apply for admission to Bentley:

Complete and return the Biographical portion of the application:

Also include the non-refundable $75 application fee and a photo of the candidate (essential in distinguishing your child in the process.)

Complete and submit the following components of the formal application by Friday, January 11th, 2008:

• The Candidate Self-Portrait (optional)
• The Candidate Questionnaire
• The Parent Questionnaire
• English Teacher recommendation
• Math Teacher recommendation
• Student Statement
• An official, current school transcript or report card
• (Grades 10-12) Make an appointment with the Admission Office to schedule a Parent interview
• Make an appointment with the Admission Office to schedule a Candidate classroom visit and interview
• Register to take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) at www.erbtest.org or the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) at www.ssat.org. Bentley’s code for the ISEE is 052183. For the SSAT, Bentley’s code is 1585.

Arrange a candidate classroom visit and interview:

Candidates applying for Grades 9-12 must come for a half day visit. This is their chance to experience Bentley in the company of a Bentley Student ambassador; Candidates will go through the morning of a regular academic day at the Upper School. Candidates will also have a brief interview with a member of the Admissions Committee. Parents of Candidates applying for Grades 10–12 should expect an interview with an Admission Office representative or the Head of the Upper School.
